Harari: Pakistan men’s coach Misbah Al-Haq hinted at the return of the top cricketers in the next round of England.
The 46-year-old Al-Misbah spoke to reporters from Harare almost and spoke of different expectations after Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe 2–0 in Test Series.
“The series against England will be the last to try the combination. After that, we will put the final touches on the squad that is likely to play the T20 World Cup,” Mosbah said.
He added, “It will not be easy to tour England and the option of returning the elderly will also be considered.”

“We are only concerned about our middle ranking in white ball cricket. We have to do something about that.”
Mesbah also rejected the notion that the management does not provide opportunities for young people while also assuring that older players can also play if they are fit.
“In our country, the young man appears to be sixteen years old. Or a player aged 20?” Critics asked: How many old players are in the current Pakistani team?
“The captain and the deputy captain are young. We have provided great opportunities for the young players.”
“Despite exceeding age, if a player is fit, he can play trial cricket. Older players should be given a chance to play because performance, fitness and team requirements matter, not age.”
