Motorcyclist leaves scene of Thornaby crash that left man in hospital

The MOTORCYCLE was taken to the hospital after colliding with another motorcyclist.

The incident took place in Thornaby, near Stockton, around 11:45 PM last night.

Police said two motorcyclists were involved in the collision, which occurred at the intersection of Thornaby Road and Allison Avenue on the Teesside Industrial Estate.

Upon the intervention of the police teams, a motorcycle fled from the scene.

A 28-year-old man was admitted to James Cook University Hospital with a leg injury, where he remained while he was receiving treatment.

Police want witnesses to come forward.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have more information, CCTV or dash cam footage is requested to contact Sergeant Sara Allison of the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 174330.
