Police shot and killed a man wanted in connection with multiple murders after he lunged at them with a knife inside a Brooklyn apartment building on Friday, sources said.
NYPD officers fired on the armed suspect inside the building on East 21st Street near Dorchester Road in Flatbush around 5:30 p.m., according to police sources.
When police approached the man, he was carrying a knife, sources said.
Police then tried to use a taser to subdue him, but he lunged at them, prompting police to open fire.
The suspect was wanted in connection with the death of a man and woman whose rotting bodies were was discovered in a Brooklyn apartment in Julysources told The Post.
The woman was found with stab wounds all over her body and a decomposed man was found nearby in the Ditmas Avenue home she shared with her son. A knife was also found.
The suspect is also believed to be connected to another murder in Brooklyn, sources say.
