Nikos Cakes opened for business after it was closed for a short time due to the positive COVID-19 test of the staff

A staff member at Nikos Cakes, Oakleigh, tested positive for COVID-19 this week

Nick Poupouzas, owner of the much-loved Greek patisserie and meeting place, told Neos Kosmos that the patisserie was closed for 48 hours from Wednesday to Thursday after the case was identified.

“Without a second thought, we closed the shop and asked all staff to get tested,” said Poupouzas.

“In parallel, we thought it wise to deep clean all areas.”
