A worker at a Manhattan smoke shop was beaten and robbed overnight by a bandit dressed in black, police said.
The robber entered the store at 370 Third Ave., near East 27th Street, around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, and clocked the 26-year-old man behind the register in the face, police said.
The thief swiped an unknown amount of cash from the register and ran away. EMS took the victim to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, the NYPD said. There were no arrests.
Cops are also looking for a creep who sexually assaulted a woman on the street in Chelsea this week.
The sick man approached a 28-year-old woman on West 26th Street and 11th Avenue around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, pulled down the victim’s pants and grabbed her buttocks, police said.
Perv was last seen running east on West 26th Street, authorities said. The victim declined medical attention at the scene.
The NYPD on Saturday released a photo of the suspect, who is about 5-foot-8, medium complexion. He was wearing a blue basketball jersey with white writing over an orange t-shirt. He was also wearing blue shorts and white sneakers.
