An Oakland Hills mansion with a glass patio has been listed for $2.698 million. The “Sky Haus” has a 1,000 square meter glass veranda made of 28 tons of industrial glass. Above it sits the spacious deck with glass railings for unobstructed views of the bay.
The home was designed by a retired Silicon Valley executive who wanted to maximize the view of three bridges from the house.
The 4,085-square-foot mid-century modern home also has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It has heated bathroom floors and towel rails, a home theater and a modern kitchen among other amenities.
Alex Michas and Rick Richetta with Compass are the listing agents.
