OAKLAND — A Bay Area man has been arrested and charged with starting an OnlyFans account that contained child sexual abuse material, court records show.
Kevin Jimenez, 24, was charged Monday with one count of sexual abuse of a child and possession of child pornography, both felonies. He has been released from jail with bail conditions that include submitting to any police search of his electronic equipment or property, and an express order not to possess any child pornography, records show.
Jimenez was investigated last May, when Oakland police received a tip about child sexual abuse material on OnlyFans, a subscription-based website for adult content. Investigators looked into it and discovered that Jimenez allegedly created the account under the pseudonym “Kevin Jackson” and a false date of birth, authorities said.
The videos he allegedly posted included one of a pre-pubescent girl being tied up and raped, according to court records. Police say they were able to identify Jimenez as the creator of the account based on the IP address and other digital evidence. Jimenez was arrested on Sept. 5, four days before the charges were filed, records show.
Jimenez entered a not guilty plea at his Sept. 9 arraignment, court records show.
