Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India captain and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly have always remained diplomatic while picking his favourite cricketer. On Saturday, during a show on You Tube, Ganguly left everyone shocked while picking the Indian cricketer from the current team he enjoys watching most. On being asked by one of the viewers which Indian cricketer he enjoys watching in the current team, Ganguly replied he enjoyed Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma bat. He spoke highly of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami as well. But the former India cricketer admitted he is obsessed with Rishabh Pant. Another cricketer he enjoyed watching in recent time is Shardul Thakur.
“There are some fantastic players. As president of the board, I shouldn’t say who’s my favourite player. They’re all part of a team and they’re all favourite to me. But I enjoy Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s batting. I am obsessed with Rishabh Pant because I think he’s an absolute match-winner. Jasprit Bumrah is good, Mohammed Shami is good. I like Shardul Thakur a lot because he’s got the courage and the guts to perform at the top level,” Ganguly replied to a viewer.
Ganguly, who was admitted to hospital earlier this year and had to undergo angioplasty, comfirmed he is fit and fine and is also back to work
“I am fit and fine and back to work,” said the former India skipper.
