Orlando Bloom kicking it into high gear in Monterey. He and his son Flynn are in town for Monterey Car Week, and as they enjoy some father-son time, Bloom, 47, shared some photo highlights via Instagram Tuesday, August 20.
In the photo carousel, Bloom walks through the fairgrounds and poses with various car models, including some Porsches. Flynn, 13, is seen by his father’s side. Although his back is to the camera, we see that Flynn is almost as tall as Bloom.
Bloom has previously expressed that Flynn takes after him in many ways, but the two are also different. When you market your Peacock series Orlando Bloom: To The Edge in an interview with AND! NewsBloom said Flynn refused to join him on some of the show’s more extreme stunts.
“My son came out to the jump on the wingsuit episode,” Bloom said. “And he said, ‘Dad, you’re crazy. No way.” He doesn’t have the same watch that I respect because he takes calculated risks and I think that’s something I admire at a young age.
Bloom shares Flynn with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, and is also a father Daisy Dove, who he shares with fiancee Katy Perry. In the same interview, Bloom said that Daisy, 3, reminds him a lot of himself.
“I see a little bit of the looseness of the screw,” Orlando said. “I remember her walking up stairs and thinking, ‘Wow, she’s preparing for something.’ Because as soon as she could walk, she’s learning to climb.”
Meanwhile, Daisy has been spending a lot of time with her pop star mom, who is preparing for the release of her sixth studio album 143. In a new video shared to social media, Perry and Daisy sign copies of the album inserts together.
Fortunately, there is no shortage of quality time for these kids.
