About 53 people in Palo Alto were without power Monday morning, according to a release from city officials.
The outage began around 2:21 a.m. and initially affected about 3,300 customers between late Sunday night and early Monday morning. At 07:30 only 53 customers were without power.
Power is expected to be restored by lunchtime. The cause of the outage is an electrical fault, according to the city’s outage map.
A crew has been assigned to the outage. Palo Alto is one of the few cities in California that owns and operates a municipal utility.
