Sow has been ruled out, and three more players are doubtful.
The Patriotswho were already dealing with offensive line issues, will be without one of their starters Sunday when they open the season on the road against Cincinnati.
Offensive guard Sidy Sow has been ruled out with an ankle injury, according to the team’s injury report. Sow, who had missed three straight practices, was the only Patriot ruled out so far.
Rookie guard Layden Robinson, who had struggled with Sow in the preseason, will likely start. Michael Jordan, Nick Leverett and Zach Thomas are also candidates to pitch, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss.
Left tackle Vederian Lowe (abdomen), running back Antonio Gibson (hip) and linebacker Joshua Uche (foot) are questionable.
The Patriots also listed the following players as full participants: Tight end Hunter Henry (foot), linebacker Anfernee Jennings (wrist), cornerback Jonathan Jones (hamstring), defensive lineman Deatrich Wise (hamstring), linebacker Oshane Ximines (ankle) and linebacker Christian Elliss (concussion ).
