The TV presenter left the show in March after comments he made about the Duchess of Sussex.
Good Morning Britain reportedly suffered a decline in viewers since its departure and said there had been contact from a third party for a comeback.

He said The sun: “I had some pretty random third – party detectors to see if I would think about returning to the program.
“I don’t want to tell the record who, but a close third.
“As the Americans say, they came in handy; there have been approaches to testing water as a result of their obvious qualification problems.
“I am saddened to see that all the work we did to beat the BBC in viewing the numbers evaporates so quickly.
“It’s their problem to work … but never say never.”
ITV has been contacted for comment.
The presenter said he didn’t believe what Meghan said during her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The duchess said she was ignored when she cared about her mental health and that racist comments had been made before the birth of her son, Archie.
It was later learned that Meghan filed a formal complaint with ITV about Morgan.
