BPD said Mitchell Felix Duru, of Jamaica Plain, died of gunshot wounds near 849 Cummins Highway early Sunday morning. He was 23, the statement said.
Police responded to the area around 1:05 a.m. Sunday and found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds, a previous statement said. BPD said Duru died at the scene.
BPD said an investigation into the shooting is still ongoing, and anyone with information about the incident should contact BPD’s Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
