Police open day to return stolen bikes and power tools to their owners

Manchester Police is holding an open day to return some stolen items to their owners.

A large number of electric tools and bicycles were seized by police officers after a raid in Middleton on 8 June.

A property has been raided in Boarshaw, Wordsworth Road, with at least 68 mountain bikes and various power tools stolen from all over Greater Manchester.

Police are now looking to return these items to their owners by holding an open day between 9am and 5pm this Saturday (September 18, 2021) at Middleton Police Station.

Those who believe their belongings may be there are requested to call the station before joining.

Police officer Andy Gray from the Rochdale division of GMPs said: “We have recovered a large amount of stolen property and we would love for it to be reunited with as many beneficiaries as possible.

“In addition to releasing these images, we are also planning an open day at Middleton Police Station this Saturday.

“Anyone is free to come, all we ask is that you bring proof of purchase/ownership of the product you think may belong to you and an identity document.

“Anyone who thinks that an item in the picture may belong to them is requested to call the Middleton Police Station on 0161 856 8701.”
