May 2021’s PlayStation Plus games have been revealed. As before, subscribers get access to one PS5 title, and two PS4 games.
On the PS5, we have a chaotic car wreck sim Wreckfest. This is the PS5 version of the game, originally released on PS4 in 2019. It is important to note that you will only be eligible to download the PS5 version of this game as part of your PS Plus subscription. However, the upgrades should make a huge difference to the experience, as our original PS4 Wreckfest review graduated:
If you’re looking to bring destruction and pandemonium to motorsports, Wreckfest will suit your needs on a tee. Experience is overshadowed by technical grievances very often, but the rest after the fact is more than worth your time.
Then, on the PS4, there’s the bombastic first-person shooter Battlefield V (Which is great in multiplayer), and open the world survival title We will be left deep. This is what we told our Battlefield V PS4 Review back to launch:
Battlefield V is going to be a great game, we’re sure, but due to a number of dazzling launch flaws and one too many glitches, the final product isn’t there yet. Veterans of the series are sure to feel at home with what’s on offer today, though, thanks to a solid multiplayer offering that sticks to the tried and true nature of what tickled Battlefield.
So there you have it, three very much various games make up the PS Plus offering of May. All of them will be available for download starting May 4th-next Tuesday.
