A raven sculpture has been stolen from the Interurban Trail Trailhead on 145th Street in Shoreline, the city said in a statement.
The sculpture, called “Emissary Raven,” was created by artist Tony Angell and was donated to the city by Shoreline Rotary in 2005.
For nearly two decades, it has welcomed travelers along the trail, a nearly 12-mile route that connects King and Snohomish counties.
The theft came just a few days later a statue of Hiroshima bomb survivor Sadako SasakiSeattle’s only statue honoring a historic woman was stolen from Peace Park in the University District.
