No one was injured in the chlorine disaster.
A refrigerated seafood truck with a large picture of a lobster on the side got “Storrowed” on Monday afternoon. The truck’s exoskeleton – erm, exterior – hit the Charlesgate footbridge and crumpled.
Massachusetts State Police said the truck made contact with the bridge at 12:15 p.m. Troopers removed the shell-shocked vehicle and backed it off the roadway. The scene was cleared just after 1 p.m., according to state police. Authorities have not reported any injuries.
