DENVER (KDVR) – If you are planning to attend a concert or sporting event at the Ball Arena on November 10 or later, you must present proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment announced events at the home of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche, and the Paramount Theater will require participants over the age of 12 to be vaccinated or give negative results of a COVID test from no more than 72 hours prior to entry.

The KSE said that all staff, staff and participants fall under this requirement and everyone aged 2 and up is required to wear a mask at all times, regardless of vaccination status.

“After consulting with local, state and federal governments and health authorities along with
guidance from the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL), National Lacrosse
League (NLL) and in consultation with national concert organizers and entertainment providers strengthen the decision to introduce these protocols for all events KSE’s continued commitment to ensure
that the health, safety and well-being of our fans, frontline staff, staff, practitioners and athletes are ours
top priority, ”said Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Matt Hutchings. The verification process for evidence of vaccination or evidence of a negative COVID-19 test will take place outside the entrances of each facility and we encourage our fans to arrive early, come prepared with the necessary documentation of access and to wear a face mask at all times while you are inside the place, except when eating and drinking. “

Ball Arena already required fans to wear masks at sporting events, which some said were not followed or enforced very much.

“My section sat about 25, 30 people, and I saw two masks when it was filled up,” said one fan.
