Retired Capitol Police Sgt. Aquilino Gonell described his experience during the Jan. 6 riot as he addressed the Democratic National Convention Wednesday night. Gonell said he was betrayed by former President Donald Trump’s actions surrounding Jan. 6 and urged voters to elect Kamala Harris as president.
