The Court of Appeal heard new evidence this week as part of the Mail on Sunday’s appeal against the decision to give the Duchess of Sussex a summary judgment on her privacy and copyrights. The court heard that Meghan and Harry’s former communications secretary Jason Knauf provided information to the authors of the flat Finding Freedom biography and the Duchess was forced to apologize for falsifying the Supreme Court.
Royal expert Camilla Tominey claims that the revelations created “another inconvenient truth” for the couple.
Writing in the Telegraph, Ms Tominey said: “Far from being supported by the ‘institution’, as they described the monarchy to interviewer Oprah Winfrey, the evidence seems to tell a different story.
“Instead of giving up, it’s a damn accusation of the gospel according to Harry and Meghan.
“Of course, what we really learned from this week’s trials is how much control the Sussex had in general – and how much those around them were desperately trying to save them from themselves.”
