The former New York mayor was wanted by his representatives earlier this week in Manhattan, where he reportedly ordered electronic devices.

Mr Juliani, on behalf of the federal prosecutor, described the FBI’s raid on his upper house as “somewhat apologetic” and “very professional.”

Mr Juliani said: “They have decided to leave those behind. They are very happy to accept that they are the savior’s hard drive. They could have been Donald Trump, they could have been Vladimir Putin, they could have belonged to anyone.”

Early in the morning, he complained about the invasion.

“What? I’m going to destroy the evidence? I’ve known about it for two years. I could have concluded the evidence years ago,” said Julianni. “There is a lot of evidence,” he said.

During the interview, he repeatedly mentioned the name of Savior Biden and once called Carlson by that name.

The US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York declined to comment on the raid or investigation.
