SA bowl against Queensland in Shield

South Australia will go bowling for the first time after winning the toss against Queensland in the Sheffield Shield.

Redbacks captain Travis Head chose to place the bowlers on a greenish Adelaide Oval course under cloudy conditions.

SA and the Bulls are looking to get their first win in the Shield this season and both states are drawing in their opening games.

Queensland: Usman Khawaja (captain), Joe Burns, Bryce Street, Marnus Labuschagne, Matthew Renshaw, Jimmy Peirson, Jack Wildermuth, James Bazley, Mark Steketee, Matt Kuhnemann, Blake Edwards.
