SEC Teams to Compete in Women’s College World Series

Birmingham, Ala. – Alabama and Georgia are among eight teams scheduled to compete in the 2021 Women’s College World Series, which will take place June 3-9 at the OG&E Energy Field in USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium – Oklahoma City, Okla.

This year is WCWS’s 13th visit to Alabama (50-7) and fifth visit to Georgia (34-21). The Crimson Tide was the SEC’s automatic qualifier after winning the 2021 SEC Softball Tournament, and winning five consecutive games at the NCAA Regional and Super Regional in Tuscaloosa. The Bulldogs have won five games in a row after the season, three at the Athens Regional and two at the Gainesville Super Regional.
