World number 1 Jon Rahm withdrew from the Fortinet Championship on Wednesday-pro-am due to a stomach illness.
Rahm was to start at 8:40 PST and moved its press conference to 2 p.m. But he then canceled his pre-tournament press altogether, and the Tour announced he would not be performing at Silverado Resort and Spa’s North Course on Wednesday at all.
The 26-year-old Spaniard is scheduled to start at. 7:44 local time in round 1.

After competing this week in the Napa Valley at the PGA Tour season opener, Rahm is expected to travel to Whistling Straights, Wisconsin, for next week’s Ryder Cup.
