Stevie McKenna: I love styling my boxing style on Tommy Hearns

When and why did you start boxing:

I started boxing at the age of eight. This sport has always been in my family.

All-time Favorite Fighter:

Tommy “Hitman” Hearns He is my favorite fighter of all time. I like to design my boxing style on him.

Best fight I’ve ever seen:

Muhammad Ali versus Joe Fraser in Thrilla in Manila. It was an incredible battle. Both fighters gave him absolutely everything.

The most prominent personal jobs:

My best achievement so far is winning a gold medal at the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2015.

Strongest opponent:

I had a sparring session with Vasily Lomachenko. It is an unreal talent.

The best and worst qualities of a boxer:

My best qualities are that I am good at expelling people! My worst thing is that sometimes I can be so nice.

Training tip:

Don’t take anything for granted and practice every fight like a world title fight

Favorite meal / restaurant:

It is a Nando’s to me.

Best friends in boxing:

My sparring gloves are my best friend!

Another athlete you would like to be:

Cristiano Ronaldo. He is one of the best soccer players ever.

Last movie / TV show you watched:

I’ve been watching it recently Stealing money On Netflix.

Who will play you in a movie of your life:

It must be Clint Eastwood!

Have you ever had a starstruck:

I wasn’t really surprised, although I met Adam Sandler one day. He was walking casually down the street in Los Angeles

The last time I cried:

That was probably when I was born!

Best advice received:

Keep your hands raised, punches hard and don’t hit.

Worst rumor about yourself:

Ryan Garcia He tried to say that he sparred me, which is not true at all. I hit him all over the ring.

Something not much knows about you:

I am a big fan of Liverpool FC. I try to get to a match whenever I get the chance.
