(NewsNation) — A man who was raised to be a terrorist but turned his back on Hamas says death Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar “is not the end of the war.” Mosab Hassan Yousef says that the root of all violence in the Middle East lies in Iran.
“My eyes are on Tehran, the head of the snake,” said Yousef, the son of a Hamas founder who spent years under cover for Israel. He told NewsNation’s “CUOMO” that Iran and its top leaders will continue to cause pain until the world has had enough.
The US reacts to the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar
“It is the responsibility of every free person in the world to put an end to (to) this Islamic Republic (Iran). As long as he (the Ayatollah) is alive, we will have a problem in the Middle East.”
Yousef believes that the best way for Gazans and Israelis to finally eliminate Hamas is for the Egyptian army to hunt down Hamas members in Gaza and find the hostages.
He believes that Gazans would not attack Egyptian soldiers, and that most Gazans want to be free of Hamas and “36 years of slavery to a sick ideology.”

Yousef also said that whoever replaces Sinwar will not be around for very long.
“Whoever will replace Sinwar will die,” he said. “All Hamas leaders in Turkey, in Qatar, in Tehran, in Beirut, wherever they are, they are dead men walking.”
