Lansterter (CBSla) – A kidnapping suspect was arrested early Friday morning in Paldell after a long chase and misunderstanding after the man locked himself in his mother’s apartment.
The incident began Thursday around 4:50 pm when Los Angeles County sheriff’s representatives responded to a 911 call by an alleged gunman.
The suspect, with a female passenger behind a Toyota Price tire, was chased in 2000 blocks on West A-8 on Lancaster.
He also drove to Verne County, where he was traveling at a speed of about 100 miles per hour before returning to Lanster, where he was involved in the California Highway Patrol.
Price finally left the 14 Freeway in Paldell and took to the streets.
One CHP officer was T-Bon, who was not involved in the chase. No serious injuries were reported.

Price entered the courtyard of the Sera View Gardens’ apartment on 20th Avenue 37, where two people – a male driver and a female passenger – jumped out of the car.
The suspect, armed with a firearm, entered his mother’s apartment and immediately surrendered to LASD representatives, the sheriff’s department said.
The woman was taken to a local hospital with an undisclosed injury. There was no word on whether she was a victim.
According to LSS, the cause of the exchange is unknown, but shots were fired at the beginning of the clash. No one was injured.
During the accident, another man came down from the porch of one of the apartments and surrendered to the agents. He was taken to prison without incident. Lassd later said that he was a man of interest, but that he was not the main suspect in the persecution.
Just before 9:00 pm, the suspect’s mother left the apartment and told reporters that he was the only one left.
The suspect was finally arrested around 12:20 a.m. Friday. His identity is unknown.
The cause of the abduction was not immediately known.
