Hell hath no fury like Swifties despised and retired NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown learned this lesson the hard way.
After the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Sept. 29, Brown, 36, took to X (formerly Chirp) to share one NSFW tweetin which he called Kelce “washed up” and suggested he needed to move on from his pop artist girlfriend Taylor Swift — uses some pretty misogynistic language.
Par for the course, the Swifties caught wind of Brown’s post, and needless to say, they weren’t happy.
“Ppl need to stop being so hateful,” said a fan. “travis and taylor don’t deserve that.”
Another fan called out Brown for the chauvinistic wording of the post.
“why do you refer to woman as a body part, you could have simply said he needs a black woman,” they said.
One person noted that Brown, who retired earlier this year, has no business calling anyone “washed up.”
“A guy who spends Sundays on Twitter calling a guy a year older than him who still plays ‘washed up?’ OK, that checks out.” they said – However, it is worth noting that Kelce is actually 34.
Neither Swift nor Kelce have commented on the matter, but they have both kept busy. This fall, Kelce is doing triple duty on the screen, between them NFL season, FX’s Grotesquerieand Are you smarter than a celebrity? — the latter of which will premiere on Prime Video on Wednesday, October 16.
Additionally, Swift is gearing up for the final installment of her critically acclaimed Era’s Tourwhich will resume on Friday, October 18 in Miami Gardens, Florida.
