Teen speaks after viral video that she pushes a bear away to help save her family’s dogs


At the top of the week, 17-year-old Hailey Mourinico under video surveillance took a leap of faith and pushed a bear away to protect her family’s dogs, as the bear attempted to attack the dogs at her home in Southern California . Now Hailey is talking about the moment which instantly went viral.

All the dogs in her family and even her mother’s service dog are doing well after the incident.

“I didn’t want to know what would happen if the bear hurt or took it,” Haley said. “So I had to do what I had to do.”
