A Texas police officer has been killed and two others was injured in a shooting in Dallas, according to reports.
The incident is believed to have taken place on Thursday night in the Oak Cliff area of the city.
The alleged suspect then allegedly led police on a high-speed chase into Lewisville, where he was fatally shot, according to The Dally Morning News.
The Dallas Police Department posted on X, formerly Twitter: “Dallas Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting. The media scene will be across from Methodist Central in Colorado.”
BREAKING: 1 of the 3 Dallas officers shot in the South Central division last night has died.
Another official is critical and the third is expected to be okay.
The suspect was shot and killed in Lewisville after a chase.
