The beaches of Southern California reinforce Memorial Day weekend

Authorities are supporting a large crowd on the southern California coast this weekend.

Beaches are usually the beginning of an informal summer weekend. That year is summed up by the fact that the region Coronary blockade continues for months, Matt Meyerhoff, head of media information for Malibu City.

β€œThis year has been a busy one,” says Meyerhoff. People are eager to leave because of the opening. ”

The Los Angeles Police Department has announced on Facebook that the beaches in Venice and Docweiler will be difficult to wait for the influx of visitors.

Malibu’s crackdown begins every year with coordinating meetings with city officials, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Fire Department, La County County Beaches and Ports, California State Parks, Mountain Recreation and Conservation Authority, and California Highways. Meyerhoff said.

Most of those agencies are recruiting staff, including beaches and ports and state parks, which increase coverage by up to seven days a week. The Mountain Recreation and Conservation Authority doubles security in the parks between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

The city of Malibu will support the Coast Guard team to monitor the annual Memorial Day and Labor Day from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

The city has asked the city to start the beach group early on May 1, lifting COVID restrictions and waiting for the beach to be congested.

The team has 10 four-wheelers crossing the beaches following the illegal drinking on the beaches of Al La County, with the aim of reducing drunkenness, drowning and fighting. He said the sheriff’s department had asked for more protection, as would be done on weekends.

Driving is one of the few activities allowed in the city, he said, adding that traffic congestion and street racing are on the rise during the crash. APP The road racing task force will continue to be present in the area, he said, adding that the agency is carrying out two additional patrols by the end of this week.
