After 16 days of spectacular competition, 2024 Olympics ran out on Sunday with traditional closing ceremony.
The Olympic flame will be extinguished in the Paris Stade de France during a ceremony called “Record”. It was directed by Thomas Jolly, who was also the artistic director of the much debated opening ceremony.
The ceremony will include performances by Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, Red Hot Chili Peppers and HER, as well as French President Emmanuel Macron and various royals and heads of state.
Here are some photos from the event as it unfolds.
