“St Louis to China, with love.”
Jayson Tatum has had an action-packed summer, with adventures from Paris to St. Louis and more.
His latest stop is China, where he participated in the China Family Tour via Jordan Brand.
Tatum joined NBA stars Luka Doncic, Zion Williamson and Paolo Banchero in Shanghai and Beijing.
Tatum posted many pictures from the adventure, with the text: “St. Louis to China, with love.”
According to a release from Jordan Brand: “This groundbreaking tour is more than just a series of events; it is a significant cultural experience that aims to connect Jordan Brand athletes with the youth of China.”
The release states: “This tour represents a historic moment as these athletes bring the essence of the Jordan Brand to China, emphasizing our commitment to growing the game and culture that Michael Jordan made global.”
A superfan, who has been following Tatum ever since he entered the NBA, was gifted a pair of the brand new Tatum 3’s by Tatum himself. Tatum also put his handprint on Jordan’s store wall, and the store gave him a piece of traditional Chinese art that read, “What are they going to say now?” and a picture of Tatum and his son, Deuce.
They then crossed the Great Wall of China on Saturday. The place they walked is in very close proximity to the stairs that Michael Jordan walked in 2004.
To end the day, the Jordan family surprised the kids at a basketball camp to play different competitions with them.
