Amherst, New York – University of Buffalo Athletic Director Mark Nottt has signed a five-year contract that will run through May 2026.
In addition to the new deal, the school added the vice president position to Alnutt’s title on Thursday.
Allnut is in his fourth year at Buffalo, where the Mid-American Conference program continued a streak of success.
The Bulls FA come out for their second straight ball win, defeating Marshall at Camellia Powell. In April, the women’s swimming and diving team won their first MAC title.
The women’s basketball team has made two appearances at the NCAA Championship, and the men’s team has participated since 2018.
The success led to Alnutt being challenged for two major coaching positions.
Earlier this month, he hired Michigan’s Joint Defense Coordinator Maurice Lingguest to take over the soccer coaching position after Lance Leibold left for Kansas. In 2019 Alnutt promoted assistant Jim Whitesell to take over the men’s basketball team after the Nate Oats were hired by Alabama.
