When Trustees Carmen Carlisle and Chris Gonzalez called out Henyard for continued unauthorized spending and a general lack of transparency regarding township operations, Henyard fired back by questioning Carlisle’s spending while the trustee was working as her assistant. She called for a “forensic review/investigation” into former Thornton Township Administrator Keith Freeman’s credit card “and Carmen Carlisle’s use of this card.”
