A drive-by shooting in the Fuller Park neighborhood early Monday morning left three men injured, Chicago police said.
At about 2:30 a.m. Monday, an unidentified gunman fired several shots from a truck at a group of people hanging out in an empty lot in the 5200 block of South Princeton Avenue, according to police.
A man, 24, was shot in the right cheek and was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition. The other two victims, aged 21 and 24, declined medical attention at the scene after receiving wounds to the back and above the right eye, respectively.
No one is in custody and the victims declined to answer questions about the incident. Detectives are investigating.
