A new 24-hour coffee shop is planned for an old travel agency site in Istanbul. Bolton.

“Tim Hortons is a relatively new entrant to the UK market and can best be described as a restaurant chain that offers coffee and bakery.

“They opened their first store in the UK in 2017 and now have branches in all four UK countries with more openings coming soon.

“The current focus is to expand the drive-thru model in the UK, including at the Bolton site.

“The Tim Hortons offer is different from that offered by companies like McDonalds, KFC and Burger King and is comparable to the offer provided by coffee shop operators such as Costa or Starbucks, where a significant portion of the offer consists of hot and cold beverages and bakeries. items including a large selection of donuts.

“The hot meal offering, again similar to other coffee shop operators, includes hot sandwiches and wraps, as well as panini and ‘melt’ items.”

The brand was founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario.

The planning report states that the closest residences are located on the west side of Manchester Road, 30 meters from the site.

If the plans are approved, changes will be made to the existing parking layout to accommodate the drive-through lane, resulting in the loss of seven parking spaces.

This will leave a total of 26 parking spaces for the restaurant and other nearby units.
