Tom Brady and his daughter, Vivian, were on hand to watch the Olympic balance beam and floor exercise finals on Monday.
Some of the reigning champions in Boston got a visit from a seven-time Super Bowl winner on Monday.
Patriots legend Tom Brady was in attendance at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris this week, with the future Hall of Famer snapping a photo with three Celtics (and current Team USA players) in Jayson Tatum, Derrick White and Jrue Holiday.
Brady posted the photo to his X account and chose the caption “The Town (2010)” in reference to Ben Affleck’s heist film. Of course, the Boston-based film is a personal favorite of Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla.
Speaking in October, Tatum admitted that he has developed a good relationship with Brady over the years.
“I know him quite well” Tatum said before a game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. “I met him when he was still with the Patriots. Tom is the best. He has every reason to be arrogant and all those things, but really down to earth.
“He texts me every now and then. He watches the games. He’s just a really, really good guy, and to be the greatest football player of all time says a lot about him.”
Brady was in the stands earlier Monday with his daughter, Vivian, and the duo watched Simone Biles and other gymnasts in both the balance beam and floor exercise finals. Biles took home a silver medal on Monday, while American Jordan Chiles took bronze in the floor final.
Tatum, White and Holiday will return to the court on Tuesday when Team USA hosts Brazil in the quarterfinal round of the 2024 Olympics. Team USA is just three wins away from securing its fifth straight gold medal.
