Led by two-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson, seven-time defending champion USA extended its impressive Olympic winning streak to 58 games on Sunday. The US women will face Nigeria in the quarterfinals at 9:30 PM CEST/3:30 PM EDT at Bercy Arena.
Nigeria is the first African country to make it to the men’s or women’s elimination round at the Olympics.
The winner of that match advances to the semi-finals to face the winner of Serbia’s quarter-final match against Australia.
