US navigates to back Israel in Middle East, pushes Hamas truce talks forward – CBS News

The U.S. has deployed more support to the Middle East to encourage deterrence in the region and back up Israel as tensions rise with Iran and Hezbollah. This comes as Hamas says it will not attend cease-fire talks Thursday in Qatar. CBS News senior national security correspondent Charlie D’Agata reports.
