The UAE and Senegal signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a Joint Emirati-Senegalese Business Council, in the presence of President Macky Sall, President of the Senegalese Republic, alongside the Senegalese Business Forum, held in the Dubai Ports Pavilion at Expo 2020.

It was signed on behalf of the State by His Excellency Abdullah Mohamed Al Mazrouei, President of the Federation of Commerce and Industry in the State and President of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and on the Senegalese side, Baba Traore and Alyaman Lam on behalf of the Federation of Employers Unions in Senegal.

On this occasion, Al Mazrouei emphasized the interest of Emirati entrepreneurs through this advice to learn about the investment opportunities available in Senegal and pointed to the openness of chambers of commerce to increase cooperation with the private sector in the two friendly countries.

He added that the Chambers of Commerce are ready to help Senegalese entrepreneurs and investors who want to establish direct or joint projects in the United Arab Emirates, as well as support them for the successful investments and partnerships that exist between Emirati and Senegalese companies.
