A 56-year-old Neeham man who practiced acupuncture without a license is charged with aggravated assault and battery.
Qunhao Zhang was arrested Friday night at his home and charged with two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years of age or older, Needham police said in a statement.
The department said it received the report of the alleged incident at Boston Acupuncture Center (Chinese) and Herbal Medicine at 1410 Highland Ave. in Needham around 12:25 p.m. on Friday. As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for Zhang’s arrest.
Needham police said investigators determined Zhang had his acupuncture license revoked by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine in the fall of 2022.
