“We make that process easy,” Luijke said.

Today’s news follows from the startup’s $ 3.1 million Seed round in July 2020. Williams said it’s been a “busy year” for the company.

The COVID-19 pandemic and the rapid shift to remote work have “exposed many vulnerabilities” in the way companies communicate, and some of their broader processes, Williams continued.

In fact, many of the tech stacks that HR has flown into the crisis are no longer enough. This tech revolution was undoubtedly powered by COVID-19 and Luijke said hybrid working has accelerated growth for Pyn.

David Ulevitch, a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz, explained why the firm supported the startup:

“Pyn is an internal communication tool that leaders can deploy to executives and team operations people for meaningful communication with a target group of employees, at the right time. No more internal internal email that employees grow to ignore.Personalized employee communication that can make a huge impact on productivity, prosperity, and longevity.

“However, Pyn is more of a communications power tool that optimally disseminates information. It also treats employee communication channels as the rails on which management skills are organized in an organization. It delivers Pyn of a library of management playbooks. For example, once an employee is assigned as a new manager in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Pyn can initiate onboarding processes for the new manager instead of waiting. for some version of the quarterly new manager training. “
