PLEASANTON — A police investigation led to the arrest of a person suspected of waving a gun at BART passengers and shutting down a station early Tuesday, authorities said.
BART officials said the West Dublin/Pleasanton station was closed for about 20 minutes. It reopened about 8:55
BART spokesman Jim Allison said police took one person into custody. That person allegedly struck several people with a shiny metal object, Allison said. The police were called to the scene at 7:50 a.m., he says.
No injuries were reported. The police interviewed witnesses.
A bus service took passengers from West Dublin/Pleasanton station to Dublin/Pleasanton station, which marks the end of the Blue Line.
