- The smart idea would save money on nice wrapping paper
With Christmas just six weeks away, a smart Kmart shopper has shared his budget wrapping of gifts using a craft product.
But before wrapping the presents, she repeatedly wrote the names of the recipients in italics for a decorative touch.
Melbourne Kmart shopper Danielle revealed she wrapped this year’s Christmas presents with $ 5 brown craft paper from the department store (pictured)
“Kmart craft paper for gift wrapping and my little calligraphy skills,” she wrote the post.
And instead of using ribbons, she tied the presents with yarn to perfectly match the style.
The idea is not only environmentally friendly but would save money on nice wrapping paper.

The end result looked fantastic and was dubbed as an “ingenious” idea by other social media users.
‘I would buy this wrapping paper! Fantastic job, one person wrote in the comments.
‘Genius!!! Wish I had seen this before I bought slippery wrapping paper, added another.
The post on social media was “liked” more than 2,600 times, but others did not seem to think they could replicate the calligraphy handwriting.
“If only my handwriting was so nice to make a hack like this,” one person wrote.
“Looks so good but would not have the patience, one name would suffice for me”, added another.
