Taylor Swift enters his Chiefs era with NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce.
The “Karma” singers are expected to be at Arrowhead Stadium Thursday for the opener between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.
Security arrangements for the night are already underway in preparation for her arrival, according to several reports. Fixed the boss’s president Mark Donovan has not officially confirmed the Grammy winner’s presence for Thursday’s game, he said the team has protocols in place for when she is present.
“She wants to be there to support Travis,” he said on “Front Office Sports“. “And we will create that opportunity. We will provide that opportunity.”
Security is of particular concern on the heels of one thwarted terrorist plots in Vienna last month forced all dates for the “Champagne Problems” singer in the Austrian capital.
Last year, Swift’s presence at games sparked a big spike in NFL ratings with Swifties tuning in to catch a glimpse of “Shake It Off” the star cheers on her husband.
But Donovan notes that while he understands fans want to see Swift at the games during NFL telecasts, he’s trying to make a “conscious decision to respect the relationship.”
“We’re not trying to capitalize on this,” he said. “We try to celebrate it, but it’s not about doing too much or showing her every touchdown. She never showed up on our big board.”
As for Kelce, he says he doesn’t mind all the attention his superstar girlfriend gets and being Swift’s arm candy.
“It’s the life I chose, I guess,” Kelce said Thursday on CBS Mornings. “I’m having fun with it.”
