A hit-and-run crash in the South End Monday night left one dead and another injured, Boston police said.
Officers responded to reports of two pedestrians hit by a car at an intersection near Boston Medical Center on Monday night, a BPD spokesman said. When they arrived, the police found the victims, a woman and a man.
Both victims were taken to the hospital where the woman died from her injuries, BPD said. The man suffers from serious but not life-threatening injuries, says the spokesperson.
BPD said officers identified the driver, but have not made any arrests yet, and the crash remains under investigation.
