The injured worker was taken to hospital for treatment.
A worker was reportedly injured after falling from a shoe plastic truck at Assembly Row in Somerville on Thursday.
The incident occurred near the River Bar, according to a WHDH Report in reference to the Somerville Fire Department. An employee of the bar told the news agency that they saw the worker put a light on a metal structure before falling to the ground.
“I was working and I heard a loud noise, and I just saw the crane collapse and I saw the guy just hit the ground,” Sergio Re told WHDH.
The outlet’s news chopper captured video of the scene, which showed police tape around the truck and debris on the ground. The truck’s bucket appeared to be broken.
The injured worker was taken to hospital for treatment. Details of his or her identity and injuries were not released.
