Writers Guild Announces Their own Nominees

A few mins ago, the 2021 Writers Guild Honor nominations were announced. Coming to all of us, of course, from the Writers Guild of America (or the WGA, just for short), this Guild is one that may clue us in a little bit to how Best Adapted Screenplay plus Best Original Screenplay could go on the Oscars. This Guild do disqualify a number of titles ahead associated with time, so it’s not likely to resemble the Academy Award lineup in full, as well as excludes a potential frontrunner, but by and large, these are 10 of the maybe fifteen major contenders for a win come Oscar period.
