WWE has made another round of cuts that includes some shocking names.
WWE announced that wrestlers Braun Strowman, Alastair Black, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett have all been released on Wednesday.
Strowman, real name Adam Scher, was in a major pay-per-view title match 17 days earlier when he was in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. The 37-year-old defeated Goldberg for the Universal title at last year’s WrestleMania.
On “SmackDown”, WWE spent only a couple of weeks for Black’s replacement character, culminating with his major return to television on May 21 after nearly seven months away to attack Big E.

Lana has been a part of a tag team with Naomi. Her husband Rusev, who now goes by Miro at AEW, was cut last year by WWE during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
